Tomato Sev Recipe

Ingredients-

  • 1 cup of gram flour
  • 1 tbsp of garlic paste
  • ½ tsp of red chilli powder
  • ½ tsp of coriander-cumin seeds powder
  • ¼ tsp of turmeric powder
  • 2 tbsp of tomato ketchup
  • salt to taste
  • Oil

Procedure:-

  1. Take gram flour in a bowl.
  2. Add red chilli powder, coriander cumin powder, turmeric powder, salt to taste, tomato ketchup and garlic paste.
  3. Add 1 tsp of oil and mix it well.
  4. Make a thick batter. Prevent the lumps
  5. If batter is very thick, add water and mix it well.
  6. Cover the batter and keep it aside for 10 minutes.
  7. After 10 minutes, mix the batter well.
  8. Take sev maker and grease with oil.
  9. Place the batter in sev maker and close it.
  10. Heat the oil on medium flame.
  11. Hold the sev maker over frying pan.
  12. Press the sev maker handle.
  13. When sev comes out, move the sev maker in circular motion slowly and continue to press the handle.
  14. Make two circles and stop.
  15. Fry the sev on both sides on medium flame until it becomes crispy.
  16. Take out sev on absorbent paper.
  17. Make all sev in a similar way.
  18. Our tasty and crispy tomato sev is ready.
