Tiranga Barfi Recipe
Happy republic day to all! Let’s celebrate this great day in Indian history by this sweet Tiranga Barfi. Tiranga barfi is made with milk powder and three colours. It is a very tasty and delicious recipe for any occasion.
Ingredients- सामग्री
- 1 ½ cups of milk powder (दूध पाउडर)
- ½ cup of milk (दूध)
- 2 tbsp of butter (मक्खन)
- Pinch of cardamom powder (इलायची पाउडर)
- green food colour (हरा रंग)
- saffron food colour (भगवा रंग)
Procedure: –
- Turn on the flame.
- Keep the pan on gas.
- Add butter.
- When the butter is melted, add milk and mix it.
- Reduce the flame.
- Add milk powder and mix it well.
- Add sugar and mix it.
- Keep stirring continuously to prevent lumps.
- Cook it on medium flame until it becomes thick. Keep stirring.
- Add cardamom powder and mix it well.
- Turn off the flame.
- Take a tin or plate and grease the tin with butter or ghee.
- You can place the parchment paper into the tin or tray.
- Divide the barfi mixture into 3 bowls.
- Add saffron colour in 1 bowl and mix it well.
- Add green colour in another one bowl and mix it well.
- Take the greased tin.
- Add green layer first and spread it evenly.
- Add white layer (plain layer) on the top of the green layer and spread it.
- Add saffron layer on the top of the white layer and spread it.
- Let it cool down completely.
- Cut the barfi with the help of knife.
- Our tiranga barfi is ready.
