Til Ki Chikki Recipe
Ingredients- सामग्री
- 1 cup of sesame seeds (तिल)
- 3 tbsp of brown sugar(ब्राउन शुगर/ चीनी)
- 3 tbsp of honey (शहद)
- 1 tsp of oil (तेल)
Procedure:-
- Take a parchment paper and apply the oil or ghee on it. Keep it aside.
- Turn on the gas and keep the pan on the gas.
- Add sesame seeds and roast it on low-medium flame until it becomes puffy.
- Take out the roasted sesame seeds in a bowl.
- Add sugar and honey in same pan.
- Cook it for 2 minutes on low–medium flame.
- Add roasted sesame seeds and mix it well.
- Cook it for 1-2 minutes until it becomes thick.
- Pour the sesame seeds mixture on the parchment paper.
- Fold the remaining parchment paper on it.
- Roll it into thin sheet.
- Remove the parchment paper from topside and cut the sheet into pieces.
- Let it cool down completely.
- Our crunchy and tasty sesame seeds bars are ready to eat.
- Store the sesame seeds bars in an airtight container and enjoy it for 20-25 days.
Tip:-
- You can add white sugar or jaggery instead of brown sugar.
- You can add some water instead of honey.
