Til Ki Chikki Recipe

Ingredients- सामग्री

  • 1 cup of sesame seeds (तिल)
  • 3 tbsp of brown sugar(ब्राउन शुगर/ चीनी)
  • 3 tbsp of honey (शहद)
  • 1 tsp of oil (तेल)

Procedure:-

  1. Take a parchment paper and apply the oil or ghee on it. Keep it aside.
  2. Turn on the gas and keep the pan on the gas.
  3. Add sesame seeds and roast it on low-medium flame until it becomes puffy.
  4. Take out the roasted sesame seeds in a bowl.
  5. Add sugar and honey in same pan.
  6. Cook it for 2 minutes on low–medium flame.
  7. Add roasted sesame seeds and mix it well.
  8. Cook it for 1-2 minutes until it becomes thick.
  9. Pour the sesame seeds mixture on the parchment paper.
  10. Fold the remaining parchment paper on it.
  11. Roll it into thin sheet.
  12. Remove the parchment paper from topside and cut the sheet into pieces.
  13. Let it cool down completely.
  14. Our crunchy and tasty sesame seeds bars are ready to eat.
  15. Store the sesame seeds bars in an airtight container and enjoy it for 20-25 days.

Tip:-

  1. You can add white sugar or jaggery instead of brown sugar.
  2. You can add some water instead of honey.
