Suran ki Sabzi

Ingredients

  • 200gm yam
  • 3-4 chopped green chillies
  • 1 tbsp peanut
  • jaggery
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • ghee

 Procedure:

  1. Peel the yam (suran) and cut it into small pieces.
  2. Wash it with warm water.
  3. Turn on the flame and keep the pan on gas.
  4. Add 1 tbsp of ghee. Heat the ghee.
  5. Add chopped green chillies. Fry the chillies for few minutes.
  6. Add chopped yam (suran). Mix it.
  7. Add salt to taste, lemon juice and jiggery.
  8. Mix it well.
  9. Cover the pan and cook it for approx. 10-12 mins on low flame.
  10. Mix it and add peanut powder then mix it well.
  11. Cook it until water is reduced.
  12. Take it out in serving bowl.
  13. Suran ki subzi is ready for fast.
