Suran ki Sabzi
Ingredients
- 200gm yam
- 3-4 chopped green chillies
- 1 tbsp peanut
- jaggery
- salt to taste
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- ghee
Procedure:
- Peel the yam (suran) and cut it into small pieces.
- Wash it with warm water.
- Turn on the flame and keep the pan on gas.
- Add 1 tbsp of ghee. Heat the ghee.
- Add chopped green chillies. Fry the chillies for few minutes.
- Add chopped yam (suran). Mix it.
- Add salt to taste, lemon juice and jiggery.
- Mix it well.
- Cover the pan and cook it for approx. 10-12 mins on low flame.
- Mix it and add peanut powder then mix it well.
- Cook it until water is reduced.
- Take it out in serving bowl.
- Suran ki subzi is ready for fast.
