Tawa Pizza Recipe - Veg Pizza

Veg pizza is made with veggies, cheese and plain flour. Pizza is a very popular all over the world. It is very tasty and mouth-watering recipe. We need oven for making the pizza but today I am making it without oven. We can make the pizza on tawa( flat pan). Tawa pizza is a simple and delicious recipe.

Ingredients

For pizza base

  • 2 cups of plain flour
  • 1 tsp of sugar
  • 1 tbsp of instant dried yeast
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tsp of oil
  • 1 tsp of oregano
  • Warm water

For pizza topping

  • red capsicum
  • green capsicum
  • carrot
  • Jalapeno chilli
  • mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tbsp of mix herbs
  • 1 tbsp of chopped garlic
  • 2 tbsp of tomato ketchup or pizza sauce

Procedure: –

  1. Take a big bowl.
  2. Add ½ cup of warm water in the bowl.
  3. Add sugar and dry yeast and mix it.
  4. Keep it aside for 5 minutes.
  5. When the yeast is fermented, add plain flour and mix it.
  6. Add water as required and knead the dough very well.
  7. Add 1 tsp of oil on top of the dough and knead it well.
  8. Make sticky soft dough.
  9. Cover the dough with damp cloth and keep it aside for 1 hour.
  10. Keep the pan on gas.
  11. Add 1 tsp of oil. When the oil is heated, add chopped garlic.
  12. Saute it. Add chopped veggies and mix it.
  13. Add salt to taste and mix it.
  14. Add mix herbs and mix.
  15. Saute it for 3-4 minutes on medium flame.
  16. Take it out in a bowl.
  17. Once the dough is formed, spread the plain flour and punch it and knead it for minute.
  18. Divide the dough into 2-3 portions.
  19. Dust the plain flour on rolling board and roll out the dough with the help of rolling pin.
  20. Turn on the gas and keep the tawa on the gas.
  21. Place the rolled pizza sheet on tawa.
  22. Roast the pizza base on both sides on low flame.
  23. Our pizza base is ready for pizza.
  24. Add chopped garlic, mix herbs in tomato ketchup and mix it well.
  25. Instant pizza sauce is ready.
  26. Spread the pizza sauce over cooked pizza base.
  27. Add mozzarella cheese, cooked veggies.
  28. Again add some mozzarella cheese on the top of veggies.
  29. Cover the lid and bake it for 4-5 minutes on low flame.
  30. Tawa pizza is ready to eat.
