Suji Coconut ke Steamed Ladoo Recipe
Making steam rava laddoo is a Maharashtrian traditional (authentic) recipe and very easy to make. You can make it with or without ghee. These laddooes are very tasty even without ghee. There is no extra time to make them. You can also make such kinds of laddooes for the Dessert, for the offerings etc.
Ingredients- सामग्री
- 1 cup of semolina (**सूजी)**
- 1 cup powder sugar (**चीनी**)
- 1 cup freshly grated coconut (**ताजा नारियल**)
- ½ tsp cardamom powder (**इलायची पाउडर)**
- chopped almond (बादाम)
- raisins (किशमिश)
Procedure:
- Take a large bowl.
- Put 1 cup of semolina and 1/2 cup of fresh coconut in this bowl.
- Mix semolina and coconut.
- If the mixture of semolina coconut is dry then add 1 spoon of milk.
- Take pressure cooker. Add 1/2 glass of water to this pressure cooker.
- Put a mixture of semolina coconut in a pressure cooker tin.
- Keep this tin in the cooker and close the lid of the cooker
- Turn on the gas
- Cook up to 4 whistles on medium flame.
- Allow the cooker to cool down and let the steam get out of it.
- Take out the tin from the cooker.
- Transfer the mixture of cooked semolina coconut in a large bowl.
- Add powder sugar, cardamom powder, chopped dry fruits in this mixture.
- Mix all these things once very well.
- Take a little mixture on the palm and make small laddooes.
- Prepare all the laddooes and stick the pistachios on laddooes.
- Steam rava coconut laddoo is ready.
Tip: –
If you like ghee, you can add ghee. These laddoos do not last longer. They can be kept in the fridge for 2-3 days. Eat all laddooes within 2-3 days
