Spinach & Moong Dal Dosa

Dosa is a south indian cuisine.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup of rice
  • ½ cup of split green gram with skin
  • 25 gm of spinach
  • 3-4 green chillies
  • 1 inch ginger
  • Salt to taste (½ tsp)
  • oil

Procedure:

  • Wash and soak the rice and split green gram for 6-7 hours. After 6 hours, drain the water from rice  and green gram.
  • Take grinder jar and place the soaked rice and green gram in it. Add green chilli, ginger and spinach in that. Add 3-4 tbsp of water and grind everything into smooth paste.
  • Take out the batter in the bowl. Add salt to taste and mix well.
  • Heat the dosa pan on medium flame, don’t over heat.
  • Add few drops of oil and wipe with tissue paper.
  • Take a ladle full of the batter and pour on tawa and gently spread the batter into round shape.
  • Add few drops of oil top of the dosa and cook it on medium flame until dosa becomes crispy.
  • Take out the moong dosa in the serving plate and serve with your favourite chutney.
  • Enjoy the healthy breakfast.
