Spicy Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients

  • 250 gm Brussels sprouts
  • 2 tbsp of roasted & grounded peanuts
  • 1 tbsp of ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp of cumin seeds
  • ¼ tsp of turmeric powder
  • ½ tsp of coriander powder
  • ½ tsp of cumin seeds powder
  • 1 tsp of red chilli powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp of oil
  • Coriander leaves

Procedure :

  1. Wash and cut the Brussels sprouts into 4 pieces.
  2. Keep the pan on flame.
  3. Add 1 tbsp of oil in the pan.
  4. When the oil is heated, add cumin seeds.
  5. When cumin seeds crackle, add ginger-garlic paste and mix it.
  6. Cook it on low flame until it turns golden in colour.
  7. Reduce the flame.
  8. Add ¼ tsp of turmeric powder, 1 tsp of red chilli powder, ½ tsp of coriander and ½ tsp of cumin seeds powder and mix it well.
  9. Add chopped Brussels sprouts and mix it.
  10. Add salt to taste and mix it.
  11. Add 2 tbsp of peanuts powder and mix it.
  12. Cover the pan with lid and cook it on low flame for 7-8 minutes.
  13. Open the lid and mix it.
  14. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
  15. Serve the spicy Brussels sprouts in a serving plate.
