Spicy Chicken Legs
Chicken legs recipe is very tasty. Today, I am making oven roasted chicken legs . It is so easy to make it.Chicken legs are also known as chicken drumstick. If you make this spicy chicken drumstick recipe, do let me know how it comes out.
Preparation time :- 10 minutes.
Marination time :- 4-5 hours or overnight.
Cooking time :- 30 minutes.
Ingredients
- 6 chicken legs
- 1 tsp of salt
- ½ tsp of turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp of coriander-cumin seeds powder
- 1 tbsp of red chilli powder (kashmiri)
- ½ tsp of garam masala
- 1 tbsp of ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tbsp of lemon juice
- 1 tbsp of olive oil
- Fresh parsley leaves
- Butter
Procedure:
- Wash the chicken legs well.
- Marinate the chicken.
- Add salt to taste, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala, coriander-cumin seeds powder, lemon juice, 1 tbsp of oil on top of the chicken legs.
- You can mix all spices in a bowl then add.
- Mix everything well.
- Apply the spices on chicken legs well.
- Cover the chicken legs and keep it in the fridge for 3-4 hours or overnight.
- Take out the chicken legs from fridge.
- Rest it on room temperature for 10-15 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 230 degree celsius.
- Place the chicken legs in baking tray and spray the oil on it.
- If you like, add fresh parsley leaves on it.
- Keep the tray in the oven and bake it on 230 degree celsius for 15 minutes.
- After 15 minutes, take out the chicken legs tray and flip the legs to other side.
- Again, keep the chicken tray in the oven and bake it for 12-15 minutes on 230 degree celsius.
- Turn off the oven and take out the tray.
- Apply some butter on the chicken legs.
- Our tasty and spicy chicken drumsticks are ready to serve.
- Serve the chicken drumstick with favourite sauce, salad or rice.
