Salmon fish curry

Ingredients- सामग्री

  • 200gm Salmon Fish (सैलमन फिश)
  • 1 chopped onion (प्याज)
  • dry coconut as required (खोपरे)
  • 4-5 garlic cloves (लहसुन)
  • 1 inch ginger (अदरक)
  • ½ tsp of cumin seeds (जीरा)
  • ½ tsp of turmeric powder (हल्दी पाउडर)
  • 1 tbsp of red chilli powder (लाल मिर्च पाउडर)
  • 1 tsp of garam Masala (गरम मसाला)
  • coriander leaves (धनिये के पत्ते)
  • salt to taste (नमक)
  • oil (तेल)

Procedure:-

Wash and cut the fish into small pieces.

  1. Apply some salt and turmeric powder on fish and mix it well.
  2. Turn on the gas and keep a pan on gas.
  3. Add chopped onion.
  4. Add ½ tsp of oil and mix it.
  5. Cook it for 2 minutes on medium flame.
  6. Add ginger and garlic and fry it for another 1-2 minutes on medium flame until it turns golden brown.
  7. Reduce the flame to low intensity.
  8. Take out the fried onion and garlic.
  9. Add coconut in the same pan and fry it.
  10. Take out the fried coconut.
  11. Let fried onion, garlic and coconut cool down.
  12. Take a grinder jar and add fried onion, ginger-garlic and coconut.
  13. Add some water and grind it into smooth paste.
  14. Heat a pan and add 1 tbsp of oil in it.
  15. Reduce the flame.

  17. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder and mix it.
  18. Add onion, coconut paste and mix it well.
  19. Cook it on medium flame until oil comes out.
  20. Add fish pieces and mix it well with masala.
  21. Add water as required mix it.
  22. Add salt to taste, garam masala and mix it.
  23. Boil it. When water is boiled, keep flame on low.
  24. Cook it for 5-6 mins on low flame.
  25. Add fresh chopped coriander leaves and mix it.
  26. Salmon fish curry is ready.
  27. Take it out in a serving bowl.
  28. Enjoy salmon fish curry with rice, naan or roti.
