Cabbage Manchurian Recipe
Ingredients- सामग्री
- 2 cups of grated cabbage (गोभी)
- ½ cup capsicum (शिमला मिर्च)
- chopped spring onion (हरा प्याज)
- 2 green chillies (हरी मिर्च)
- 2 tbsp chopped garlic ( लहसुन)
- 1tsp of chopped ginger (अदरक)
- ½ tsp of garam masala (गरम मसाला)
- 2 tsp of red chilli powder (लाल मिर्च पाउडर)
- 4 tbsp corn starch (कॉर्नस्टार्च)
- 4-5 tbsp plain flour (मैदा)
- 1 tsp tomato Ketchup (टमाटर कैचअप)
- 1 tsp Red Chilli Sauce (रेड चिली सॉस)
- 1 tsp soya sauce (सोया सॉस )
- salt to taste (नमक)
- oil (तेल )
Procedure:
- Take the grated cabbage in a bowl.
- Add salt to taste, garam masala, 1 tsp of red chilli powder and mix it well.
- Add 4 tsp of corn starch, 4-5 tsp of plain flour and mix it well.
- When the mixture becomes thin, add more plain flour and mix it.
- Grease the oil on palm.
- Take a mixture and make small balls.
- Heat the oil in the pan.
- When the oil is heated well, place the cabbage balls.
- Fry the cabbage balls on medium flame until they turn golden brown.
- Take out the fried cabbage balls on absorbent paper.
- Fry all cabbage balls in a similar way.
- Heat another pan.
- Add 1 tbsp of oil.
- When the oil is heated, add garlic, ginger and white spring onion.
- Saute it for 1 minute on medium flame.
- Add green chilli, capsicum and saute it for another 1-2 minutes.
- Reduce the flame.
- Add tomato ketchup, red chilli sauce, soy sauce, 1 tsp of red chilli powder and mix it well.
- Add ½ cup of water and mix it.
- Take 1 tsp of corn starch in a bowl and add 2-3 tbsp of water then mix it.
- Pour the corn starch mixture and mix it well.
- Add salt to taste and mix it.
- Cook it for 30 seconds on low flame.
- Add fried cabbage balls and mix it well.
- Cook it for 1-2 minutes on medium flame.
- Garnish with green spring onion and serve in a serving plate.
