Caramel Popcorn Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup of corn
  • 2 tbsp of brown sugar
  • Few drops of vanilla essence
  • 1 tbsp of oil

Procedure:

  1. Turn on the gas and keep the pan on gas.
  2. Add 1 tbsp of oil
  3. Then add raw corn and fry it for 2-3 minutes on low- medium flame.
  4. When the popcorn crackle, put the lid on pan.
  5. Puff up the popcorn on low- medium flame.
  6. When the puffed noise stops, turn off the flame.
  7. Open the lid and take out the popcorn in a bowl.
  8. Heat the pan.
  9. Add brown sugar and ½ tsp of oil or butter.
  10. Mix it and cook it on medium flame until sugar is dissolved completely. (don’t overcook)
  11. Turn off the flame.
  12. Add few drops of vanilla essence and mix it.
  13. Add puffed popcorn as required and mix it well.
  14. Take out it in a flat plate and let it cool down.
  15. Separate (break) all popcorns and serve in a serving bowl or plate.
  16. Enjoy the crunchy, sweet popcorn.
