Caramel Popcorn Recipe
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup of corn
- 2 tbsp of brown sugar
- Few drops of vanilla essence
- 1 tbsp of oil
Procedure:
- Turn on the gas and keep the pan on gas.
- Add 1 tbsp of oil
- Then add raw corn and fry it for 2-3 minutes on low- medium flame.
- When the popcorn crackle, put the lid on pan.
- Puff up the popcorn on low- medium flame.
- When the puffed noise stops, turn off the flame.
- Open the lid and take out the popcorn in a bowl.
- Heat the pan.
- Add brown sugar and ½ tsp of oil or butter.
- Mix it and cook it on medium flame until sugar is dissolved completely. (don’t overcook)
- Turn off the flame.
- Add few drops of vanilla essence and mix it.
- Add puffed popcorn as required and mix it well.
- Take out it in a flat plate and let it cool down.
- Separate (break) all popcorns and serve in a serving bowl or plate.
- Enjoy the crunchy, sweet popcorn.
