Barramundi Fish Curry
Ingredients- सामग्री
- 250gm barramundi fillets (बारामुण्डी फिश)
- 1 onion puree (प्याज प्यूरी)
- 1 tomato puree (टमाटर प्यूरी)
- 1 tbsp of ginger and garlic paste (अदरक लहसुन की पेस्ट)
- ½ tsp of cumin seeds (जीरा )
- ¼ tsp of turmeric powder(हल्दी )
- 1 ½ tsp of red chilli powder (लाल मिर्च पाउडर)
- 1 tsp of garam masala(गरम मसाला)
- 1 tsp coriander, cumin seeds powder (धनिया जीरा पाउडर)
- coriander leaves (धनिये के पत्ते )
- salt (नमक)
- oil (तेल)
Procedure: –
- Wash and cut barramundi fish fillets into small pieces.
- Marinate the fish with some salt, turmeric powder and some ginger garlic paste.
- Keep it aside for 2-3 minutes.
- Add 3-4 tbsp of oil in a pan.
- Heat the oil and add fish fillets.
- Fry it on both sides for 2-3 minutes on medium flame.
- Take out fried fish in a plate.
- Add 1 tbsp of oil in heated pan.
- Add cumin seeds. When the cumin crackle, add ginger garlic paste and mix it will.
- Add onion paste and mix it.
- Add turmeric powder, coriander & cumin seeds powder, red chilli powder and tomato puree.
- Mix it well and cook it for 3-4 minutes on low to medium flame.
- Add water as required and mix.
- Add garam masala and salt to taste and mix it.
- Add chopped fresh coriander and mix it well.
- Cover the pan with lid and cook it for 2-3 minutes on low flame.
- After 3 minutes, add fried fish and mix it gently.
- Cover the pan and cook it again for 2-3 minutes on low flame.
- Barramundi fish curry is ready.
- Take out fish curry in a serving bowl.
- Serve the barramundi fish curry with rice, naan, roti or bread.
