Paneer Pakora Recipe

Ingredients

  • 300g paneer
  • 1 cup of gram flour
  • 1/2 cup green chutney (mint & coriander)
  • 3-4 chopped green chillies
  • 1 tbsp garlic
  • 1 tsp carom Seeds
  • ½ tsp cumin seeds powder
  • ¼ tsp dry mango powder
  • ½ tsp Garam Masala
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • coriander leaves
  • salt to taste
  • oil

Procedure:

  • Cut the paneer in cubes and then slit each cube from the centre making 2 slices of paneer.
  • Apply a thin layer of coriander mint chutney on the paneer slices and make small paneer sandwiches.
  • Make the gram flour batter for coating.
  • Add chopped green chilli, garlic paste, carom Seeds, cumin seeds powder, dry mango powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, coriander leaves and salt to taste in to gram flour.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Dip the paneer sandwiches into the batter. Make sure they are coated well in this batter.
  • Fry the coated sandwiches in the hot oil until it becomes light golden.
  • Fry the paneer sandwiches both sides.
  • Once they are fried. Take it out on absorbent paper.
  • Paneer pakoras are ready to serve.
  • Eat the paneer pakoras with tomato ketchup or any type of chutney.
