Oats Paratha, Healthy Paratha Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 bowl of rolled oats or oats flour
- 3 medium size boiled potatoes
- ¼ tsp of turmeric powder
- 1 tsp of red chilli powder
- ½ tsp of garam masala
- ½ tsp of roasted cumin seeds powder
- ½ tsp of dry mango powder
- Coriander leaves
- Salt to taste
- Oil or ghee
Procedure :
- Grind the rolled oats in a mixer grinder and make powder.
- Keep the pan on flame and add ½ cup of water.
- Add salt to taste and boil it.
- When the water is boiled, turn off the flame.
- Add oats flour and mix well.
- Add 1 tsp of oil and make the dough like roti dough.
- Knead the dough well and keep it aside.
- Make potato filling.
- Smash the potatoes.
- Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala, cumin powder, dry mango powder, coriander leaves and salt for taste.
- Mix everything well.
- Take a small portion of dough and give the dip a round shape like a bowl.
- Put the potato stuffing and close the edges.
- Dust the dry flour on a rolling board and roll it very gently. Don’t roll thin.
- Keep the pan on flame.
- Roast the paratha on medium flame till it becomes light in colour.
- Apply the oil or ghee and roast it well.
- Enjoy the very tasty and healthy oats aloo paratha with favourite chutney or sauce.
