Nacho Chips Recipe

Nachos are a Mexican snacks recipe. It’s made from corn tortilla. Nacho chips are tasty, very crispy and delicious snacks for party or tea time. Kids enjoy these chips very much.

   Ingredients

  •      1 cup of corn flour
  •       ½ cup of wheat flour
  •       ½ tsp of turmeric powder
  •       ½ tsp of carom seeds
  •       ¼ tsp of oregano
  •       salt to taste
  •       oil

   Procedure:-

  1.   Take a big bowl.
  2.   Add corn flour, wheat flour in it.
  3.   Add turmeric powder, carom seeds, oregano, salt to taste and 2 tsp of oil.
  4.   Mix it well.
  5.   Add little amount of water and make a hard dough.
  6.   Knead the dough well.
  7.   Cover the dough and keep it aside for 10-15 minutes.
  8.   Apply the oil on board and knead the dough.
  9.   Make the small balls.
  10.   Apply the oil on top of the rolling board and rolling pin
  11.   Take a small ball and roll it into circular and thin (sheet)poori.
  12.   Prick the poori with the help of fork.
  13.   Cut the poori in the center with the help of cutter or knife.
  14.   Heat the oil. Do not overheat Oil.
  15.   Place the chips in oil carefully.
  16.   Fry the nacho chips on low-medium flame until it become crispy.
  17.   Take it out on absorbent paper.
  18.   Enjoy the nacho chops with mayonnaise, ketchup or cheese sauce.

Tips:

  1.       You can add chilli powder, black pepper.
  2.       You can bake the nacho chips in the oven.
