Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour (Maida)
- 2 tbsp of cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp of baking powder
- 1/2 tsp of baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 60 gm of unsalted butter, softened
- 5-6 tbsp of powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp of milk
Procedure :
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (170°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In another bowl, add soft butter, powdered sugar and combine well until the mixture becomes light and fluffy. You can use an electric mixer or do this by hand with a wooden spoon.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until a dough forms. Be careful not to overmix; just mix until everything is combined.
- Add 1 tbsp of milk and combine well.
