Paneer Bhurji Recipe
Ingredients
- 250gm Scrambled Cottage Cheese
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 chopped tomatoes
- 3-4 chopped green chillies
- 1/3 tsp of turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp of garlic paste
- ½ tsp of cumin seeds
- ½ tsp of red chilli powder
- 1 tsp of garam masala
- coriander leaves
- curry leaves
- salt
- oil
Paneer is known as cottage cheese in India. Paneer bhurji is a very popular dish in north India. It’s very tasty, creamy and delicious. Paneer bhurji can be eaten with soft round roll (pav), bread, roti or naan.
Procedure:-
- Turn on the gas and put the pan on gas.
- Add 1 tbsp of oil in heated pan.
- Add cumin seeds.
- When the cumin seeds crackle well, add curry leaves.
- Add chopped onion and mix it.
- Add chopped green chilli, crushed garlic and mix.
- Cook it for 3-4 minutes until it turns golden brown on low flame.
- Add chopped tomato, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala, salt to taste and mix it.
- Cook it for another 2-3 minutes on low flame.
- Add Scrambled Cottage Cheese and mix it.
- Cook the bhurji for 3-4 minutes on low flame and keep stirring.
- Add chopped coriander leaves and mix it.
- Take out hot paneer bhurji in a serving plate.
- Simple and quick paneer bhurji is ready.
- Enjoy the paneer bhurji with pav, bread or roti.
You can add any brand of paneer masala instead of garam masala.
