Paneer Bhurji Recipe

Ingredients

  • 250gm Scrambled Cottage Cheese
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 chopped tomatoes
  • 3-4 chopped green chillies
  • 1/3 tsp of turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp of garlic paste
  • ½ tsp of cumin seeds
  • ½ tsp of red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp of garam masala
  • coriander leaves
  • curry leaves
  • salt
  • oil

Paneer is known as cottage cheese in India. Paneer bhurji is a very popular dish in north India. It’s very tasty, creamy and delicious. Paneer bhurji can be eaten with soft round roll (pav), bread, roti or naan.

Procedure:-

  1. Turn on the gas and put the pan on gas.
  2. Add 1 tbsp of oil in heated pan.
  3. Add cumin seeds.
  4. When the cumin seeds crackle well, add curry leaves.
  5. Add chopped onion and mix it.
  6. Add chopped green chilli, crushed garlic and mix.
  7. Cook it for 3-4 minutes until it turns golden brown on low flame.
  8. Add chopped tomato, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala, salt to taste and mix it.
  9. Cook it for another 2-3 minutes on low flame.
  10. Add Scrambled Cottage Cheese and mix it.
  11. Cook the bhurji for 3-4 minutes on low flame and keep stirring.
  12. Add chopped coriander leaves and mix it.
  13. Take out hot paneer bhurji in a serving plate.
  14. Simple and quick paneer bhurji is ready.
  15. Enjoy the paneer bhurji with pav, bread or roti.

You can add any brand of paneer masala instead of garam masala.
