Palak Oats Cheela

Palak oats cheela is a very healthy and tasty recipe for breakfast and weight loss. Oats are incredibly nutritious and rich in antioxidants.

Ingredients

  •         1 cup of chopped spinach leaves
  •         ½ cup of wheat flour
  •         1 cup of oats
  •         2 tbsp of yogurt
  •         4-5 green chillies finely chopped
  •         1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  •         1 tsp of cumin seeds powder
  •         ½ tsp of turmeric powder
  •         Pinch of asafoetida
  •         salt to taste
  •         Oil

Procedure:-

  1.   Grind the oats into powder.
  2.   Take a big bowl.
  3.   Add wheat flour, oats flour, green chilli, cumin seeds powder, ginger garlic paste and chopped spinach in a bowl.
  4.   Mix it well.
  5.   Add yogurt, asafoetida and mix it.
  6.   Add water and make thin batter.
  7.   Add salt to taste and turmeric powder and mix it.
  8.   Keep it aside for 10 minutes.
  9.   Turn on the gas and keep the flat pan on gas.
  10. Pour the ½ tsp of oil on the pan and spread.
  11. Add the batter on the pan using spoon and spread evenly.
  12. Cook the cheela on low flame until the lower side turns golden brown.
  13. Apply little oil on the top of it and flip it.
  14. Let it cook until it turns golden brown.
  15. Take out the spinach oats cheela in a plate.
  16. Delicious and healthy spinach oats cheela is ready to serve.

Tip:

  •         You can make small size of pan cake also.
