Makhan Chiwda Recipe
Ingredients
- **50gm Phool Makhana/ Lotus seeds
- **2 tbsp Peanut
- **2 tbsp roasted chana dal
- **3-4 chopped green chillies
- **½ tsp cumin seeds powder
- **salt to taste
- **Black salt
- **pinch of dry mango powder
- **curry leaves
- **oil
Procedure:
- Heat a pan, add 1 tsp of oil.
- Add peanuts and fry the peanuts for 1 to 2 minutes on medium flame.
- Take out the fried peanuts in small bowl.
- Add green chilli and curry leaves.
- Fry it for few seconds on medium flame. Until it become crispy.
- Add roasted chana dal and mix it, fry it for 1 minute.
- Add Phool Makhana and Peanuts.
- Roast it for 10-12 minutes on low flame (keep stirring).
- Add cumin seeds powder, pinch of dry mango powder, White salt and black salt as per taste then mix it.
- Cook it for 1-2 minutes. Keep mixing.
- Turn off the flame and take out chiwda in a serving plate.
