Makhan Chiwda Recipe

Ingredients

  1. **50gm Phool Makhana/ Lotus seeds
  2. **2 tbsp Peanut
  3. **2 tbsp roasted chana dal
  4. **3-4 chopped green chillies
  5. **½ tsp cumin seeds powder
  6. **salt to taste
  7. **Black salt
  8. **pinch of dry mango powder
  9. **curry leaves
  10. **oil

Procedure:

  • Heat a pan, add 1 tsp of oil.
  • Add peanuts and fry the peanuts for 1 to 2 minutes on medium flame.
  • Take out the fried peanuts in small bowl.
  • Add green chilli and curry leaves.
  • Fry it for few seconds on medium flame. Until it become crispy.
  • Add roasted chana dal and mix it, fry it for 1 minute.
  • Add Phool Makhana and Peanuts.
  • Roast it for 10-12 minutes on low flame (keep stirring).
  • Add cumin seeds powder, pinch of dry mango powder, White salt and black salt as per taste then mix it.
  • Cook it for 1-2 minutes. Keep mixing.
  • Turn off the flame and take out chiwda in a serving plate.
