Instant Rava Vada Recipe (सूजी वड़ा) |Sooji Vada |Semolina Vada Recipe
Ingredients- सामग्री
- 1 cup of semolina (सूजी)
- ½ cup of yogurt (दही)
- 2-3 green chillies finely chopped (हरी मिर्च)
- chopped ginger (अदरक)
- ½ tsp of cumin seeds (जीरा)
- chopped curry leaves (करी पत्ते)
- Fresh coriander leaves (धनिये के पत्ते)
- ¼ tsp of baking soda (बेकिंग सोडा)
- salt to taste (नमक)
- oil (तेल)
Procedure:-
- Take a big bowl.
- Add 1 cup of semolina in a bowl.
- Add chopped green chilli, ginger, cumin seeds, chopped curry leaves and salt to taste. Mix it.
- Add yogurt and mix it well.
- Add required water and mix it. Make smooth and semi thick batter.
- Keep it aside for 10 minutes.
- Mix semolina batter again.
- Add baking soda, coriander leaves and mix it well.
- Turn on the flame and keep the pan on gas.
- Add enough oil in a pan to fry the vadas.
- Heat the oil.
- Take the cold water in a bowl.
- Wet the hand with cold water.
- Take the small portion of batter on your palm and make a hole in the center.
- Put this in oil carefully.
- Fry it on medium flame until it turns golden brown.
- Take out the fried vada on absorbent paper.
- Make all vadas in a similar way.
- Instant Rava vada / suji vada is ready. Serve in a dish.
- Enjoy vada with green chutney or tomato ketchup.
