Baigan Pakode Recipe
Baingan pakora is a very simple and delicious recipe for tea time. Enjoy the baingan pakora and tea during the rainy season. You can make it for party snacks.
Ingredients
- 1 cup of gram flour
- 1 tbsp of ginger- garlic paste
- ¼ tsp of turmeric powder
- ½ tsp of cumin seeds powder
- ½ tsp of Carom Seeds
- 1 tsp of red chilli powder
- coriander leaves
- salt to taste
- oil
Procedure:-
- Take a big bowl.
- Add gram flour in it.
- Add turmeric powder, salt to taste, cumin seeds powder, red chilli powder, carom seeds, ginger garlic paste.
- Mix it. Add little amount of water and make a lump free batter.
- Add coriander leaves and mix it.
- Keep it aside.
- Wash and cut the brinjal (eggplant) into circular shape. Don’t cut thin or thick. It should be medium.
- Heat the oil in frying pan to fry the pakora.
- Dip the eggplant piece into gram flour batter and place in the oil carefully.
- Fry the pakora on medium flame until it turns golden brown.
- Take it out on absorbent paper.
- Serve the baingan pakora with any chutney or tomato ketchup.
